Two-layer air-bubble film - a modern multi-functional packaging material, which is made of high-pressure polyethylene. This type of film consists of two layers and is a smooth polyethylene fabric with a large number of small round cavities (bubbles) located on it, filled with dry air. Bubbles are formed by welding on the specially formed film with a polyethylene film substrate. All bubbles are firmly connected to the substrate and at the same time clearly separated from each other, which ensures the preservation of the structure of the film. So, if one bubble is damaged (during transportation, when cutting the film), the remaining bubbles remain untouched and retain air.
The main functions of a two-layer air bubble film are:
− protection of products from moisture, dampness and pollution;
− protection against all kinds of damage;
− cushioning actions (protection from shocks, shaking, vibrations);
− soundproofing properties (protection against acoustic effects);
− thermal insulation properties (protection against thermal effects).
The purpose of a two-layer air-bubble film is to use it as a package of small and small-sized goods, fragile products, as raw material for the manufacture of bubble bags, and also during the transportation of friction objects (glassware, ceramics, porcelain, etc.) as cushioning and stuffing material.
Two-layer air-bubble film is an inexpensive environmentally friendly material that is used in many industries and daily life.
