Shrink film is used for packaging and protecting food and non-food products from exposure to harmful environmental factors, from damage during loading, transportation and unloading.
Shrink film PVC - a high quality packaging material, which is made based on biaxial oriented polyvinyl chloride. The main feature of this film is the ability to diminish temperature influence, as a result of which the packaging of the goods is carried out by the method of thermal shrinkage. When heated, the shrink film tightens the product around the perimeter with any kind of surface, taking its shape and not deforming the product itself.
Shrink film based on PVC is used for individual and group packaging of various goods: confectionery and bakery products, cosmetics, printing products, souvenirs, plastic products and building materials. During a single packing, each product is wrapped with a film, and for a group package, the product set is prefilled with special substrates and boxes.
The main areas of application of PVC shrink film are:
− food industry;
− radio electronic industry;
− printing industry;
− cosmetic and perfumery industries;
− textile area;
− daily life and household sphere.
Shrink film PVC - universal packaging material, characterized by high quality and low cost.
Main advantages of PVC shrink film:
− universality of application;
− transparency and excellent optical properties (contribute to the maintenance of an attractive type of product and the ability of the buyer to see the goods from different sides);
− high strength, flexibility and ductility;
− ecological cleanness and compliance with all sanitary and hygienic requirements (possibility of contact with food);
− moisture, dirt and gas tightness;
− ability to shrink at low temperatures (from 80°С), which makes it possible to pack goods sensitive to high temperatures (confectionery products with chocolate and oil creams, plastic products);
− simplicity and ease of use;
− protection of goods from mechanical impact;
− preservation of all properties of packaged products;
− light weight.
The main characteristics of all shrink films:
− coefficient (degree) of shrinkage - the ratio of film sizes before and after heat shrinkage;
− shrink tension - the film voltage when heated (due to the material of the film, the thickness of the film, the temperature and the duration of heating).
Shrink film PVC is used for packing with hand tools, chamber and tunnel shrink machines, and on automatic packing lines.
Shrink film is produced in rolls, and can have such form factors: sleeve half-sleeve folding sleeve canvas.
